Re: [Flashcoders] Flashout not working in eclipse 3.2

2006-10-30 Thread Ron Wheeler
Sorry to take so long to answer this. I wanted to be sure. I had this
working on a PC in another part of the world but I had not upgraded from
3.1 to 3.2 on my PC.

It works fine with Eclipse3.2.

Remember that you have to install asdt first.
If you still have trouble ask again.

I downloaded my Eclipse from IBM's Callisto distribution. I took the
most complete package that they offer. It takes a while to load but I
also have a lot of active projects as well.

2006-10-30 Thread Chris Allen

If you don't get it running right, you might want to consider just
using AS2Ant for compiling your Flash applications.
http://osflash.org/ant#as2ant_-_swf_mtasc_and_swfmill_ant_tasks
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=94206package_id=164902

I much prefer this setup to using Flashout.

That's what it says in the flashOUT page (http://www.potapenko.com/flashout/)

Bad news - now Flashout 0.2 works only in eclipse 3.1 and java 5.
