The guys I work with here are great we're situated right next to Covent Garden station. You'll be required to work in house, so no remote work requests please. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Creative Developer with a strong web and online games background to develop innovative and highly interactive digital solutions, predominantly through Flash Actionscripting. You will work with other designers and developers to produce websites, online games, online advertising and viral applications for high-profile entertainments brands in both the UK and across Europe. Experience * Strong experience in the production of complex websites, virals, desktop apps and online advertising. * Some experience in the production of interactive games. * A good understanding of kids / youth audiences and online marketing. * Experience in the production and rollout of large scale pan-European projects, and therefore an understanding of the unique requirements of multi-language development. * Creative development experience within an agency environment Skills * Expert knowledge of Flash Actionscript, AS1 & AS2. * Can plan and set up solid site structures that facilitate localisation. * Can expertly hand-code HTML, XHTML, XML, JS and CSS. * Experience with integrating flash and backend technologies, including CGI, JSP, PHP and SQL. * Solid knowledge of common design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks. * Can develop for accessibility and audit projects for accessibility compliance. * Be a problem solver and lateral thinker. * Outstanding attention to detail. * A passion for the entertainment industry. * Enthusiasm and a good sense of humour. This is a 6 month contract position from March 2007 to cover for maternity leave. Competitive rates available for the right person.
