Hi I'm wondering if anyone has hijacked digital audiofrom their pc/macs using flash.
I'd like to use some of the more sophisticated audio handling abilities in AS3, such as accessing sound frequencies. I'm using Slimserver, a Python/MYsql based music server that also acts as a 'front'end' to itunes, using itunes playlists and streaming digital audio out to a network music device, in this case the Squeezebox. http://www.slimdevices.com/ Someone has already created a Flex based front end to Slimserver called Slimfx http://solaristics.net/slimfx/ I simply want to hijack the digital audio data coming from Slimserver so I can use it to drive a visual Actionscript3 based dynamic display on my mac.
