RE: [Flashcoders] flash synchronization

2006-10-20 Thread Wei Xiaobin
Hi,

thank Pedro Furtado for your idea. But, what do you mean by local connection?
Can I provide the synchronized flash videos via progressive downloading or
flash streaming server? A deep discussion would be appreciated.

As far as I know, SMIL file can be played by realplayer (and other products).
Although it is announced that the Macromedia also supports SMIL. But how to
play a SMIL (with Flash video clips) with Flash Player 9? I tried but failed.

Maybe my original question is too abstract. Let me give an application context.
Like live sport programm, sometimes there are more than one videos (or
sections) on the TV screen. Each video is taken from the same scene but with
different focus. They play synchronized with each other on the TV screen. Right?

Now the question. Suppose the videos are flash videos. How to play them, even
in a unsynchronized way?

Does anyone have a solution or hint?

Many thanks in advance.

Best wishes,

Xiaobin

Dear Friends,

We would ask a question about flash synchronization. We have 2 flash video
files, which should be played in a synchronized way either within a flash
container or two containers.

Can you give us any hints and suggestions?

Thank you very much for your attention!

Sincere regards,

Xiaobin Wei

Wei Xiaobin,

I think you'd do well to start here:
