RE: [Flashcoders] Customized shape of flash player
Nice! But I don't get what the added value actually is? Must be missing it. What does this make possible that flash and maybe some jscript hacks cannot do regarding freeform flash? But I don't get what the added value actually is? Must be missing it. What does this make possible that flash and maybe some jscript hacks cannot do regarding freeform flash? (masks etc.) Besides the custom window size, the Ice player allows the Flash piece to move OUTSIDE the browser window, and it also allows it to be on top of all other applications. It's useful for say, creating an online help system/performance support system always available to the user. Or just an annoying flash window. :) Jason Merrill Bank of America GTO Learning Leadership Development eTools Multimedia Team ___ Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com

Lol, ah that could indeed be what is enough. Was thinking too difficult. Although I put this in the kind of masking category. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Johannes Nel Sent: vrijdag 11 mei 2007 15:29 To: flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com Subject: Re: [Flashcoders] Customized shape of flash player wmode=transparent On 5/11/07, Waseem Shahzad [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: How we can make a customized shape of flash player in the internet explorer. RE: [Flashcoders] Customized shape of flash player
The only way you can create customized flash player shapes is with the use of Apollo, which allows chromeless and transparent areas. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Smeets, Ben Sent: Friday, May 11, 2007 9:56 AM To: flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com Subject: RE: [Flashcoders] Customized shape of flash player Isn't possible without any form of masking.
