I personally took care of fixing this in https://review.coreboot.org/56031 a while ago. To make sure a similar problem won't happen again, flashrom executables now point to our wiki, which we can update as needed without having to wait for package maintainers. The next flashrom release is long overdue, primarily because the quality of the code in the master branch degraded too much to make a new release with.
