This is definitely a pointer in the right direction. I found that my item renderer was not redrawing things under certain conditions. Fixing that fixed the problem. For now I am shelving TileList in favour of a custom component to do the job. I'll put together an isolated test case and see what is going on. If I find something I open a bug. I am seeing some strange behaviour with TileList. I am hoping someone can shed some light on this: I have a TileList where I assign it an ArrayCollection for its dataProvider.
