Hi! What I want: I want to create a custom AS class, named "TimeoutManager". This class then executes some tasks from my app, but if one task needs longer than a specified timeout (via Timer class / TimerEvent.TIMER_COMPLETE), it should stop the task. I only found an attribute requestTimeout for mx:WebService, but how can I do that more generally?
