Is there a FREE way to stress test a real-time messaging BlazeDS application?
I tried using JMeter, but I can't capture all of the http request data to set up the test because you need to use a proxy for that, and BlazeDS falls back to a polling channel if a proxy is used. I looked in flexunit, but that doesn't seem like it's appropriate for this type of test. I want to establish 100, 200, 300,... clients until it breaks the server. All that needs to happen is a login(via acegi security) and a Consumer subscription request. Unfortunately, acegi requires a jsessionid for each http request to validate, and that's what I'm having difficulty with. Basically, any requests to the server are interrupted by acegi and the jsessionid is validated. If the validation is successful, the web asset is fetched. If validation fails, the login JSP page is returned. This is also causing issues with an AIR app that I have that has a flex login interface. The jesssionid doesn't seem to get cached within the AIR http request headers. Thanks for any help. ~Geoff~
