Re: [flexcoders] Trouble to connect my debug player to flex builder
Matt Chotin a crit: The url that youre using is the correct url? You dont have to navigate the browser to actually get the SWF to load? Is it loading the SWF directly or an HTML wrapper? Its the Player not finding the debugger or the debugger not finding the player? Big difference J Hi, I change the run and debug info to directly launch my generated html +swf at my apache location : http://localhost/mysite/myFlexpage.html I use Firefox. This works fine. And this is the player that not find the debugger. -- Flapflap[at]sans-facon.net -- DevBlog : http://www.kilooctet.net __._,_.___ -- Flexcoders Mailing List FAQ: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/files/flexcodersFAQ.txt Search Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexcoders%40yahoogroups.com SPONSORED LINKS Web site design development Computer software development Software design and development Macromedia flex Software development best practice YAHOO! Re: [flexcoders] Trouble to connect my debug player to flex builder
I'm also having problems, Flex Builder tells me it can not find the debug version of the player, and asks me if I would like to try and load anyway, continuing doesn't work. I think in my case, the debugger is not finding the player or something? How can I test to see if the debug version is actually installed? I have un-installed and re-installed Flash Player and Flex Builder 2, still not working. Cheers Gareth. Matt Chotin wrote: The url that youre using is the correct url? But my player don't find the debugger (or maybe one time on ten)... What can I do to be sure that all is good ? This is a new fresh install (flex builder and plug-in) and I've well uninstall all previous flex beta. RE: [flexcoders] Trouble to connect my debug player to flex builder
Do you see any warnings coming from Flex Builder? If you clicked the debug link it should start the debugger and attempt to connect, seems odd that it wont. What if you set the Debug url to be empty, then try launching, then press OK on the Player dialog when it asks where the debugger is located?
