A left tab nav singleton? Maybe there are some Singleton UI management classes which are used to build the UI dynamically rather than using good 'ole MXML. I would love to see the arguments as to why that is a good way to go... Maybe they are dynamically building the UIs from some other XML. :-? I wonder how easy it is to layout views using this approach.
