yes, you should be able to use the -theme option to specify 
the haloclassic.swc file:

mxmlc 
-theme=c:/flexdeploy/frameworks/themes/haloclassic.swc -file-specs 
c:/myfiles/flex2/events/MultipleButtons.mxml

Hi, we shipped the haloclassic theme in
the themes folder. So you just need to get that thing loaded and hopefully it
will work. I dont know how tested it is right now
