RE: [flexcoders] Re: [cairngorm-devel] Flex HotFix 2 and Cairngorm 2.2
Hi Kyle, I'll be posting a new beta build of Cairngorm/Cairngorm Enterrpise to my blog this afternoon (it's a few days turnaround to get things up on Labs). I mean extracting a zip is not that hard I was just saying in an ideal situation using the updater would be nice. I suppose that if I had to choose between waiting longer for hotfixes or having to manual patch I most defiantly choose manual patching! :) Also any ETA on the hotfix friendly Cairngorm? -- Flexcoders Mailing List FAQ: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/files/flexcodersFAQ.txt Search Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexcoders%40yahoogroups.com Yahoo! Re: [flexcoders] Re: [cairngorm-devel] Flex HotFix 2 and Cairngorm 2.2
Hi Matt, I want to support better upgrading for FB3. Since it's build on Eclipse, you have all you need to set up an update site so the upgrade will be really easy. That would be a great one for all people, like me, that have to test many envoriments. Thanks 2007/5/27, Matt Chotin [EMAIL PROTECTED]: We're going to be adding better update support into Flex Builder 3. Sorry that the hotfix installation is a pain, but not building out more installers allows us to release them faster and continue on things like Flex 3. We're not updating the main installs with the hotfixes for now, too much documentation required :-) Matt -- *From:* flexcoders@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] *On Behalf Of *kyle.vanvranken *Sent:* Friday, May 25, 2007 11:53 AM *To:* flexcoders@yahoogroups.com *Subject:* [flexcoders] Re: [cairngorm-devel] Flex HotFix 2 and Cairngorm 2.2 I feel you on the hotfix installation. It would be nice if you could just run the update from within eclipse/fb. On a more positive note whoohoo for fixing some GC issues! - Kyle -- ::| Carlos Rovira ::| http://www.carlosrovira.com ::| http://www.madeinflex.com

forgot to also ask. I'm assuming this also includes hotfix1? Because of this, applications that use the ServiceLocator class, which contains a soft reference to the Consumer class, will give a compile error since the Consumer class no longer exists in the SDK. We're looking into this at present.
