[Flightgear-devel] Re: Help with Multiple Instances

2005-12-07 Thread kella001
Also, I got a tip concerning the views to use the --view-offset
parameter, but I tested it out just using a command line such as:

c:\Program Files\FlightGear\bin\win32fgfs.exe --fg-root=c:\Program
Files\FlightGear\data --view-offset=-45

and the view didn't change at all. I tried putting the value in ()
and but nothing worked. Is my syntax wrong or am I leaving out a
necessary parameter or what? It seems pretty straight forward but is
producing no change. I used the --fov parameter to mess around with
it and it worked fine, but nothing on the view offset. Thanks

[Flightgear-devel] Help with Multiple Instances

2005-12-06 Thread kella001
I sent a message to the list before regarding setting up a panoramic
view using 3 computers being projected onto panels. I have the
network set up on a win32 system and am having trouble getting the
controls to send over the network, controlling the three instances
with one set of controls. I currently am just running a joystick on
the main computer(one sending sockets), but will eventually be using a
cockpit(controls being read in to another computer and mapped on
there. Also, can someone help with setting up parameters so that upon
loading, the default view will form a sort of panoramic view? I know
upon runtime you can just change the view on each machine, but this is
tedious. Right now I have my main computer running the center
projector and would like the other two(left and right projectors) to
be set to display in a more panoramic view via command line or even a
desktop shortcut. Any help with how to do this would be great.
Thanks again for the help guys and let me know if more details are
needed.
-Ryan
