I think this is ahead of the general announcement, but Martin and I created
a flightgear-commitlogs email list. The content is similar to what we
enjoyed on the cvslogs mailing list back in the day. The output is based on
Martin's clone of the official git repository which is updated hourly.

You can go here to subscribe:

[Flightgear-devel] AI-manager on a GIT version

2010-10-27 Thread Donn Washburn
I have also noticed that on the basic git fgdata runway some of the
traffic seems to land and run off the runway as it heads down the
runway. It even goes sideways sometime and does very fast left or right
turns.

This is on a week ago and 2 days old git version.

Re: [Flightgear-devel] AI-manager crashes FGFS on exit in latest GIT version

2010-10-27 Thread fierst42

Hi again,

I recompiled everything this morning from GIT and positioned my plane
at EHAM for another look at the AI traffic.
I noticed, that under the current weather conditions (visibility
2100m), buildings and planes etc. in the distance seem to become
transparent. See this image. The red/white box in the foreground is
opaque, but all stuff behind it is not as solid as expected...

Note how at least one AI plane (the one on the left) seems to be
standing on top of a building.

Furthermore, I am sorry, that I have to report that (at least on one
occasion) fgfs still crashed on exit. I will give it a couple of goes
to see if this is reproducable. The stack trace seems to indicate the
same problem as before.
This is the stack trace:

Core was generated by `fgfs
--fg-root=/home/mifi/Software/Sources/fgfs12/install/fgrun/bin/../../fgfs/'.
