Rerun the build. It will try to build only the one that failed previously. I
suspect this is not the only message displayed in the build window ;-)

What is the part you didn't understand ? how to set an environment variable
under Windows, or what to put as a value ?

If you got all the sources and data from GIT, no.

Hey guys!

I've tried following the steps in
http://gitorious.org/fg/flightgear/blobs/next/docs-mini/README.MSVC#line89as
suggested by Fred, and got this after my build

== Build: 11 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==
didn't manage to locate that failed build though :( by the way, because I
only have Visual Studio Express, so I got the 32 bit precompiled package
even though my PC is a 64 bit environment (I saw that it was stated in the
steps that the 64 bit is only for Professional Edition and i don't have
that)

anyways, i tried to move on to the next step, that is to add the two bin
into the PATH environment variable but I am unsure where it refers to, any
help?
and also, this is going to be a fundamental question, since i've sort of
built a release version of FG, would i still need to separate install Flight
Gear in order to test out any modifications(eg. my wind shear condition) i
make in future?

please forgive my lame questions :(

will upload the mathematical model in my next email!
thanks so much everyone!

..I seriously doubt nicking the 3D filter glasses was
an intention, but the tradition on such business fairs
and trade shows, is indeed to hand out similar cheap
things, as gifts.

..so we must either factor in that cost next time, or,
come up with better ideas.

..maybe put these 3D filter glasses on strings and have
FG check the "stand guest pilot for 3D glasses or not?"
and use that to control FG's view modes?

..another 3D Mode idea, is use a coupla web cameras to
track the pilot's eyes, and use the eye positions to
control FG's "view holes into the simulated world."

And Linux, by the way...

It is a pity, people always find ways to nick stuff... Do you need me to
chip in some euro's to compensate?

..now there's a challenge; X.org has the mga driver,
Matrox has these:

While we're at it, I'd like to remind that these impressive multi-
screen setups, which we (the respective booth crews) have been proud to
present on various FSweekend and LinuxTag shows over the past four (!)
years - in continuously increasing size - would have been completely

Indeed, well done, Durk !

Some visitors must have liked what they saw so much, that they probably forgot
to remove the 3D glasses from their nose when leaving the booth. That way five
pairs of my 3D glasses found a new home. I hope, they take this as an
oppertunity to uninstall MSFS and only use FlightGear from now on!

There was actually one guy who thought we were cheating and moved all around
our installation to find a hidden computer somewhere. He even went down to his
knees, crawled hither and thither and took pictures from the machine from
nearly every angle. He traced the monitor cables, counted the DVI connectors
and still suspected two computers within the big chassis. I had to open the
cabinet for him which I think finally convinced him.
Sidenote: There is still the unused onboard Matrox card providing an analog
VGA port...

I have to admit, not even a simulated "ejection seat" distracted Durk from
performing a perfect carrier landing. Well done!
