Hi,

We have now completed and committed to CVS the next stage in development of
our AAR capability - user to user AAR over the Multiplayer(MP) Network. This
comprises:

Updated code in cvs AIModels
Updated carrier_nav.dat.gz file
A flyable tanker - the KC135
AA TACAN which can now detect MP aircraft with the appropriate callsign.
A rudimentary radar which can detect a limited number of MP contacts.

If you want to fly an operable tanker mission, just select the KC135, and
use the callsign MOBIL1, 2 or 3 as your MP callsign. TACAN channels are
060-062X respectively

If another MP user wants to refuel from you all they have to do is select an
AAR capable ac - A4F, Lightning, or T38. If you do not choose the A4F, then
you should deactivate any scenario involving a tanker; right now the results
with JSBSim with more than 1 tanker in the environment are uncertain.

The refueller should fly an agreed tanker towline. The receiver should tune
his TACAN to the appropriate channel, and/or use his radar to close on the
tanker. The FG map is also helpful. Once with 50 ft of the tanker, a green
light will show on the panel somewhere, and fuel will be transferred. ATM,
only the receiver's fuel level is affected, the tankers supply is unlimited.

It has all been tested briefly earlier today, and we might get some screen
shots later

Enjoy

Regards,

Vivian
