Following our release schedule, I'll be performing some git operations on our simgear, flightgear and fgdata repositories to finally create the branches for the release. I am planning to start tomorrow on Sunday, July 17th at 08:00 UTC and hope to be ready in less than an hour. The tasked to be performed are written down here: http://wiki.flightgear.org/index.php/Release_Plan#Detailed_Time_Schedule_and_Checklist (Major bullet point 2. Jan/Jul 17th.) To guarantee that our repositories are in a consistent state, please do not push anything to any of our three repositories after 08.00 UTC. I will post a message on this list when I am about to start and after I have finished (or screwed up the whole thing).
