I'd consider giving a presentation (in English, my German ist nicht sehr gut) - I've done similar things before for other open-source projects I've been involved with. (And, obviously I'm hoping to make it to LinuxTag this year). Topic is the key - I'm not sure if LT will accept a general 'talk about FG' presentation. In the past I've focused on a specific technology or architecture, when the talk is aimed at developers, but from the CfP it seems they'd prefer talks aimed at end-users. Hi Alex, Alex Perry wrote: http://www.linuxtag.org/2010/en/program/call-for-papers.html Has anyone submitted a FGFS centric response to the CfP? If not, should I? We're planning to have the anuual booth there, but, as far as I can tell, none of the usual suspects (you know most of them in person) intends responding to the CfP. Actually, if I were you, then I'd make the decision based on wether I have the resources to prepare a suitable speech - or not ;-) Cheers, Martin. -- Unix _IS_ user friendly - it's just selective about who its friends are ! -- -- Throughout its 18-year history, RSA Conference consistently attracts the world's best and brightest in the field, creating opportunities for Conference attendees to learn about information security's most important issues through interactions with peers, luminaries and emerging and established companies. http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsaconf-dev2dev ___ Flightgear-devel mailing list Flightgear-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
