[Flightgear-users] Concorde Update Error (v.2.1.)
The newly updated Concorde (v.2.1.) has an error with the nose. On my computer, clicking on [ and ] does not move the nose up or down. Version 2.0 did not have this problem. Please can the developer fix this problem in a later release. [Flightgear-users] Let L410 Aircraft (continued)....-see other post.
The version of FlightGear I am using is 0.9.8. I have extracted the aircraft into the 'aircraft' folder under FlightGear. When I launch FlightGear the plane appears under 'select an aircraft' BUT after launching FlightGear, the programme automatically stops and command prompt comes up saying it could'nt launch the aircraft/engine model.' How do I get this aircraft to work? I have no idea how to recompile FlightGear, or do any of the other instructions. (See below.) How to install: Download Aircraft data file (the matching version!) Decompress it into your Aircraft (and Engine on 0.9.4) directory Download source codes update file (the matching version) Decompress it into your source codes directory.WHERE IS THE SOURCE CODES DIRECTORY? Some files will be overwritten. Run ./configure command again for make new Makefiles HOW DO I DO THIS Compile program (by make command) AND THIS Install it (by make install command) AND THIS If everthing was ok you can run it now (for example this way: fgfs --aircraft=l410) If anybody out their knows how to get the aircraft working it would be much appreciated if they could give me step by step instructions. I have the Let 410 Source Code and Aircraft Files Downloaded. I have extracted the aircraft files to the FlightGear Aircraft Folder. What do I do next? The instructions say to extract to Source Code Where is this (what folder?) I also dont't understand how to do this: Unpack the source code patch into your FG source directory. Some of the old files will be overwritten, some files will be added. Then rebuild FG by using commands ./configure make make install Could somebody please send me step by step instructions on how to do this and install the Let 410 aircraft. [Flightgear-users] 1900D Issue
When I save my flight progress in the 1900D, errors seem to occur when I reload the simulation. First, the plane either pitches up or sinks into the runway at the airport you started at (e.g. KSFO) When you click 'load' again however, the plane is set back at the same place you saved. Trouble is when you start the engines and engage the throttles the propellors and plane don't move. How do I resolve this issue? Also when cycling through views, engine pitch seems to change when the engines are on full. The problem clears however when the plane is flying about 2 minutes later. Also, what will the 'completed' 1900D look like, and what addons will it have? [Flightgear-users] Citation/DHC 2 Issue
Neither the Citation or DHC 2 Beaver have a clickable panel on my computer. I got the files from the FlightGear downloads page. Could you please send me the models with the clickable panels or update the download, as I think these particular models along with the 1900D are excellent. The shutdown procedure for the 1900D is as follows: Full feather of both props, turbine shutdown by switching off, and fuel cutoff. Startup is reverse of this process. P.S. [Flightgear-users] Beechcraft 1900D, Help Please!
I recently downloaded the 1900D from the FlightGear homepage. The trouble is the mouse cannot be used to adjust the propellor feather, or any of the instruments. How can you get the mouse to adjust this? It works fine on all other aircraft. The same problem occurs on the Cessna Citation (by the same author.) Please can you help! [Flightgear-users] A Problem with some Aircraft
When I am in an aircraft (particulary the Cessna 310) with the brakes applied and the engines off and no wind, the plane seems to bounce about alot, and a stall warning horn sounds-in the 310.
