It would take some of the fun and mystery out of them. One thing you might
try is grabbing phrase and then googling it to see what comes up.

You don't really need links though do you? Just start clicking on them
and they take you into a pretty weird selection of minds.

I put lithops in my list of interests. Discovered one other person who
also had lithops in his. A like-minded soul? Well, a keep-fit fanatic
with a fitness website. I was out of there pretty darn quick I can tell
 you.

No... brisk walking suits me fine.

Re: FLUXLIST: Fluxlist Forum

2004-08-31 Thread Sol Nte
Hi all,

Well, I think Michael hits the nail on the head with the time consideration.
I think forums, group blogs, wikis etc take more time than just a simple
list so people don't get round to committing to them.

BTW - Michael how come you have so much time on your hands? I wish I had
more time...I should've made more of an effort when I was younger then I
could have combined art and day job as oppose to fitting my art activities
around my day job...oh well.

cheers,

Sol.

A group blog seems like agreat idea to me but then
  i
have more time on my hands than I care to mention!

i'm not too hip on what is going on in the

become a label someone affixes to their
 own work?

Had a cell phone for three days once. Returned it. I don't want to
  be that accessible.

I have one - but it never rings...

Have you plugged it in?

I have a driver's license but almost never drive. I walk or take
  mass transit.

Hmmm - lived in the US and got into the car habit. Ameliorating factor -
it's a very small car (Renault Clio 1.2).

We have a gold and black Mini Cooper, but would have certainly gotten a Renault if one
could A) still get 'em in the US B) get a mid-sixties model of the type that used to
be sold in the US.

I don't like the idea of E-books. Too clean.

Agreed. Used to work in publishing, and there's nothing quite like the
 smell of a new book.

I still work in publishing. Coincidence, or what?

i once asked my uncle bill (a railroad detective

well, he said yes.
i would like to share for you the morse code

granted, i don't know if all train lines use
the same code, but i still find/found
 it fascinating.
her goes...

Alarm for person or animal on or about tracks
