FLUXLIST: fluxnexus private performance workbook

2005-05-03 Thread Cecil Touchon
Great Allen!
I can include the one work or you can send me a bunch to include - otherwise
I'll just include the one.

I am planning on a fluxfest here in Cuernavaca for sometime in October to
coordinate with the Neoist Society's Neoist World Congress - the whole city is
getting ready for it! How do you do a fluxus festival anyway? I have never
organized one before. Like preparing and cooking dinner I would guess. But
advise from seasoned festival designers would be great. Most of my flux ideas
are usually things done in the studio - I have never really been into
performance that much. Do you usually practice ahead of time to have your
tricks together or just do it? What are the secrets to a successful fluxfest or
evening of performance? Is it best to wear a suit?, Best to rent a hall?,
Advertising?

everybody else on this list is invited to join in on the workbook as well of
course...

I also want to develop a FluxNexus Plastic Arts Studio Procedures book as well.
with instructions of how to make visual art. That should be a hoot. Later maybe
we could have an exhibition of executed works?
