FLUXLIST: Timepieces
Hi all, Big thanks to Petal and Bukoff who're building our timepiece repository as for music not working well in Netscape..you can always just save the link by right-clicking and selecting that option from the menu..this way you can save the mp3 to your hard drive and then open and play it. Alternatively mail me and I'll send you the mp3 as an e-mail attachment. Anyway...nice to see a first airing of Roger's Timepiece...particularly liked the bob watts blue edition fine work my friends :-) cheers, Sol. PS...most of you will have noticed I'm maintaining something of an e-mail silence at the moment...suffice to say that in the work department I have bitten off more than I can chewonly 5 weeks to go though then life should be back to normal.
Re: FLUXLIST: TIMEPIECES
hi patricia et all, i have 22 i-zone photos taken between 8 and 8:30 every morning (no days missed) but i can not get them scanned until next week some time. that is still less cumbersome than mailing back and forth. this was an especially good project because i am usually in a studio funk during the summer and instead i had i-zones to look forward to each morning. they are all taken from the same spot and are in the northeast corner of the studio on the east side that is still under construction though i am using it. it is the same spot where i made my multiples last year for the fluxbox. (i'm sentmental about spots) at any rate, it has been a merry year of fluxlist and a big thank you goes to the initiators of all these fun and enlightening projects. best to all, carol :) carol starr taos, new mexico, usa [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi all, Thanks for the kind words on my composition. Melissa wrote: >Looking forward to the final projects, and Sol, by the way, thoroughly enjoyed yours --- I'm going to bring my bass into the computer room and try to play along with it.< For anyone interested to perform it the link to the note sequences provides you with the sheet music which you can print out for performance purposes...of course ME you may just want to improvise something and that's cool too, feel free to save the mp3 file to your own hard drive for convenience rather than staying online to listen. cheers, Sol.
Re: FLUXLIST: Timepieces
My Timepieces project, which I put in yesterday's mail like a good do-bee, was an I-zone photo of my studio table, taken first thing each morning that I went in. Some days are missing, weekends for example, and if I went back late at night I didn't take a picture, so the shots were all close to the same time everyday they were taken. It was an interesting exercise, and looking over the whole piece I was able to recall things I was working on a couple of weeks ago that I'd all but forgotten about. There are days when the table is a disaster, from work in progress and general leavings, but one day where things are very cleanly and carefully laid out, as I had had a client in last thing the day before. I'm thinking that I'd like to do a longer-range similar project, but haven't had that sparkling idea which says "yes, yes, this is perfect!" yet. Looking forward to the final projects, and Sol, by the way, thoroughly enjoyed yours --- I'm going to bring my bass into the computer room and try to play along with it. Hi all, So, anyone like to share some timepiecing experiences? Did anyone feel their work as a process was close to any classic/similar study? Looking forward to comments etc. cheers, Sol.

And I would also like to have a little description by my pictures if possible. Would I mail the pictures to you and would I get them back? Re: FLUXLIST: TIMEPIECES
WHEN does the project END exactly? when the sllebybab chimes equal the letters in snevets regor and the moonlight glints off your right front bicuspid tomorrowthat is unless you can't read your code or can't get the tape off your camera, or your feline or canine or an Hawaiian taxi driver ate your work or you're going to Chicago for a week or you slept through it. These excuses are acceptable for chits for additional time. Please don't hesitate to email with the above excuses or with even more imaginative weepy explanatory requests for further time, or, for further time/management instruction. Re: FLUXLIST: TIMEPIECES
so when does the project end exactly?
Re: FLUXLIST: TIMEPIECES
I can't submit my photos either, they are still in my camera. Speaking of the project, Patricia- Do I send you all 21 photos after we are all done or what? Mine are all full size photos- were they supposed to be smaller? And I would like to write a few sentance description to be included with my pictures, is that possible too? thanx disco >From: allen bukoff > >I can't submit my photos to anyone/anywhere yet because the camera is still >taped down and the memory card is inaccessible until the end of the >project...whenever that is. > > >>Kathy Forer wrote: >> >> > It's not the 30th yet, is it?? YES, OKAY, HERE'S SOME MORE TIME. And it's happy time, too. Smile, Fluxus is watching you. Re: FLUXLIST: TIMEPIECES
Just keep repeating, end of project is end of month, 30 days has September, April June and November, all the rest have thirty-one, except February, which has 28 (most years). (I believe) this is July, and that would mean 31 days and thus day 31 would be the last day, unless one wishes to continue one's project into August or even into another year, or decade, for that matter, perhaps passing the project into the next generation, and so on. I didn't expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition. Our chief weapons are fear and surprise (oh sorry, been listening to Python in the car again). I can't submit my photos to anyone/anywhere yet because the camera is still taped down and the memory card is inaccessible until the end of the project...whenever that is. >Kathy Forer wrote: > > > It's not the 30th yet, is it?? I don't know what day it is, but I thought we were an autonomous collective. Kathy Forer wrote: > It's not the 30th yet, is it?? Have the submissions stopped due to > unilateral animus or has there been a competing urge?
Re: FLUXLIST: TIMEPIECES
>Have the submissions stopped due to >unilateral animus or has there been a competing urge? Hi Kathy and all - Well, I've been wondering about the quietness of the list. Only 19 entries since last Saturday -less than four a day - are Fluxlisters allowing Real Life to get in the way? Or is there some kind of List Problem? I went for something simple. Every day at noon I take my picture. I think we continue until the 31st - that's right, isn't it? Must go - important things to do - make a coffee pat the dog... It's not the 30th yet, is it?? Have the submissions stopped due to unilateral animus or has there been a competing urge?
Re: FLUXLIST: TIMEPIECES: SUBMISSION #11
Very nice, repeating the trash, that is in this "space of ecommerce", but I would be more interested in modifications. There are so many gifs etc out there, more than a scanner etc could produce, so...hope Ken allows this exception.. H. Brilliant! You should maybe do this for 12 years or sothe collection would be amazing tons of non-news with celebrities that will be completely forgotten by the end of the collection. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > RANDOM RETINAL IMAGERY > (((VISUAL HEADLINES FROM E-COMMMERCE SITES))) > 7.15.00
