[Bug 1839471] OpenType variant of Lucida Typewriter has extra spacing around characters
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1839471 --- Comment #7 from Fedora Program Management --- This message is a reminder that Fedora 32 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 32 on 2021-05-25. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '32'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 32 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ fonts-bugs mailing list -- fonts-bugs@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to fonts-bugs-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/fonts-bugs@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure

[Bug 1839471] OpenType variant of Lucida Typewriter has extra spacing around characters
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1839471 --- Comment #5 from Jan Pazdziora --- It's actually a pity xfce4-terminal does not allow spacing < 1 -- that would have given people more options for workarounds. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ fonts-bugs mailing list -- fonts-bugs@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to fonts-bugs-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/fonts-bugs@lists.fedoraproject.org

Awesome. I confess I converted the one variant I cared about using FontForge some time ago with not so great but slightly better result: my font had actually smaller line-spacing than the original (no matter what I did with ascent / descent / line gap seemed to have an effect), but that could be worked around by setting line spacing in the terminal. I'll test your font. Thanks for the update.
