I have again prepared the release files for the FOP 0.93 release.
They were created from the tag
 https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xmlgraphics/fop/tags/fop-0_93. You
can find them at http://people.apache.org/~spepping/. They are signed
with the same PGP key as this message. You can find this key in the
KEYS file in the distribution. The MD5 checksums are:

Herewith I start a vote on this release. The vote will end in 72
hours, that is, on Sunday 7 January 2007 at 0.00hrs UTC.

If the vote passes the release files will be moved to the main Apache
website, we will wait 24 hours for the mirrors to catch up, and then
announcements will be sent to appropriate mailing lists.

+1
Did some basic sanity checks on the linux (tar.gz) distribution and all
looks fine.

Any thoughts on this guys?

This affects the letterhead that is on every document in our software... We
cannot continue this project until both the PDF and RTF versions look the same.

Sorry, you got ignored. Busy times. Anyway, today you got lucky and I looked
into this. Vertical alignment (display-align) was actually not implemented for
RTF output at all. But it was easy to add, and so I did:
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revrev=492769

Please note that this will not make it into 0.93, so you'll have to use the
latest FOP Trunk code from SVN. In my tests text-align worked as expected.
Please retry with the latest FOP Trunk. Reopen this issue if you continue to
have problems.

Item 1 is:
http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/fop/faq.html#svg-attribute-required

Either you have to patch your JDK/JRE or we have to start working with
-Xbootclasspath
