Hello Chris, I've tried this before. But then I had the effect, that sometimes the footnote disappears when there were not enough space on the bottom of the page.
Is there any posibility to get the position of the table end and to insert a page break if there isn't enough space left? This effect is desirable in certain scenarios. One way to achieve what you want is to use fo:footnotes instead. They will always be positioned at the bottom of the page on which they occur and the space allowed for the flow (your table in this case) is reduced according to the size of the footnotes.
