Re: [foreman-users] Updating Subscriptions in Activation Key

2017-03-08 Thread Rich Jerrido
Note, you can attach those subscriptions to the clients via the UI
and/or hammer. No need to register.

You can visit: Hosts->Content Hosts->Select 1 or more hosts-> Bulk
Actions -> Subscriptions.

I've tried yum clean all and subscription-manager refresh, but
neither works.

The only way I've had success is to subscription-manager unregister
and then re-register with the same key? That doesn't seem sensible
or best practice.

Activation keys are only applied at "subscription-manager register" time.
Changes later do not modify previously registered hosts.

[foreman-users] Updating Subscriptions in Activation Key

2017-03-06 Thread Lachlan Musicman
When I update the subscriptions in an Activation Key, how do I get that
change pushed to the systems that are subscribed via that key?

I've tried yum clean all and subscription-manager refresh, but neither
works.

The only way I've had success is to subscription-manager unregister and
then re-register with the same key? That doesn't seem sensible or best
practice.
