@jan: Do you mean the highlighter for PHP code? I'm only using CPP highlighter because I'm C/C++ software developer. My strong feeling is, it has something to do with
'else' and curly brackets {}, because the garbage is either (in my case) after a
closing } or where an 'else' is.
