 What could be wrong?

JM I have no idea. I cannot reproduce this problem. Does the file /Users/

JM NSAffineTransform.inc exist?

Yes, that file existed, but I have solved this by checking out of new
SVN.

How do you compile ? Command line ? Text-mode IDE ? Lazarus ?

Errors are normally always shown.

Michael.

I like the idea!
When I see MonoDevelop and compare with Lazarus, I see that we need
more ideas to the market. I see no problem in being more attractive to
the market. I see no problem in bringing new fans to Lazarus. The tool
is good. The FPC is mature. We need things that with a larger
community would be easier.
It would be good for Lazarus / FPC with a large project as a forum or
CMS made with our own tools:
- Lazarus/FPC
- Fpweb
- SpiderWeb
- ExtPascal
- Using OPF, Patterns, etc.

People see us. Learn how to work in a professional manner with a new Easter!

Companies see us!

The problem that this has to be a collective effort. I know we can not
enforce it, do not want this! But we can support, we can agree that
this way we would be positioning ourselves clearly in the market! This
would dispel the idea that Pascal is a language of instruction.

We need those who can help not only those who want to help!

Thank you.
Regards to all.

Based on delayed delivery of the original e-mail (and partly confirmed by
brief check of the subscribed addresses), I suspect that the original

The message was posted via Nabble, so I guess that he follows the list

Yes, this is it. I don't have any experience in building web-applications
with Pascal, but if someone registers a new project at Gitorious or
somewhere else I would like to help as far as I can.

As would I. I will soon need to write a CGI program, and this would be a
great way.

[fpc-pascal] dll for Win64 - problems porting from win32

2009-12-15 Thread Lukas Gradl

Hi,

Some time ago I wrote a PrintMonitor-DLL for 32bit Windows.
Now I tried to port it to win64 using the svn-Version of FPC (did a
checkout two days ago)
When I check the resulting DLL using Mitec-EXE-Explorer everything looks
fine. The Main-Section of the DLL gets called, as well as the function
InitializePrintMonitor which is exported by the DLL.

This function returns a pointer to a Structure containing the addresses
of some other functions.

For Win32 I compile with -Pi386 -TWin32, for Win64 I use -Px86_64 -TWin64

The resulting DLL works like a charm on Win32 and will crash the spooler
on Win64.

Unfortunatly I was not able to produce a version of the source I can
release without running into copyright issues, as I use some code
contributed by someone else.

Perhaps someone has an idea what I could have missed?
Are there any open issues compiling DLLs for Win64?

regards
Lukas

If I made one, then I'll make it using Powtils (fully CGI) or
ExtPascal (fully Ajax) because that's what I know and have been
experience with. I myself prefer to use fpWeb since it's provided by
FPC's FCL. No third party dependency is good for new comers, and it's
also better FPC/Lazarus promotion. I also intend to study fpWeb and
would try to combine it with ExtPascal, if possible.
