crash after saving PDF

2011-04-12 Thread jburgdor
Running [Structured] FrameMaker 9.0p230 under Win7 64 bit. Seconds after
Acrobat successfully writes out the PDF file in a File Save As PDF
operation, FM crashes. Displays internal error so-and-so. I send the report
to adobe, and did a quick look on their support forum re this issue, without
finding anything. Anyone here seen this behavior, or know of a fix?

Thanks,

RE: crash after saving PDF

Does it happen if you print to the Adobe PDF printer instance? BTW - at p230,
you're not current (p255) was where it ended up.

Heading1 which spans 2 columns

2011-04-12 Thread Theresa de Valence
xp
Frame 8

I have a book with some pages with 2 columns. I would like to have
Heading1 span both columns (and force the text in column2 out of the way).

Do I do this by using an anchored frame? What settings do I use?

Many thanks,
Theresa
