Re: [Framers] Htmlhelp CHM default window size

2016-06-23 Thread Amit Jha
Hi Rob

Thanks for reporting this. Though this is supported through TCS route.
We will explore if we have any workaround for FM 13 native publishing. If not,
then we will try to provide that in update or in next release.

Thanks

Subject: [Framers] Htmlhelp CHM default window size

Hi Framers,
Your collective community is my last hope. I'm using FM 13, and cannot seem to
set a default window size for my compiled html help files. They all come out
small, and do not retain the set size after closing.
We migrated away from using WebWorks to produce our help files when we upgraded
to FM 13, but one drawback seems to be not being able to set this size in a
configuration file.
FrameMaker has default templates it uses to construct dynamic config files on
the fly (from what I understand) and it seems to ignore the values in the
default templates.
Does anyone know where I can set the values for 'window' contained in
RH_DEFAULT_PROJECT.hhp, or where I should put one of my own to use.

Cheers
Rob

Re: [Framers] Unusual C-Acute Accent

2016-06-23 Thread Reng, Dr. Winfried
Hi Karen,

I can only confirm what Tino said: ć is not part of HelveticaNeueLTStd.
Check for example here to see the available characters in this font:
https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/helvetica-neue/

The Windows character palette shows also characters which are _not_
in a particular font.
Use another tool like the free font browser BabelMap. It also has
some font analysis tools which show all available characters of a certain
font.
I just saw that the developers of BabelMap do not provide a download
until Unicode 9 is out.
http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Software/BabelMap.html
However, if you search for BabelMap you will find other sites from
which you can download it.

Best regards

Winfried

Hi Karen,

I checked with FM 2015 on PC:
The glyph palette shows more characters, that is true, but only
characters that really are part of the font have a correct wysiwyg
preview.
If you click on the "ć", a question mark is shown in the text, which is
the expected result.

As far as I can tell, you should "upgrade" the Helvetica font... It will
be a little bit more expensive, but it is the best way to have a
consistent design throughout all different languages.
