Re: [Framers] Entering codes for special characters/symbols
I include those variables in every file I set up as a template. That way, I can create a new document based on the template and the variables are already there. No importation necessary. :) On Wed, Apr 3, 2019 at 2:22 PM Doug wrote: > Thanks for the idea on variables. I tried it out and it works great. Re: [Framers] Entering codes for special characters/symbols
Thanks for the idea on variables. I tried it out and it works great. I don't like that I have to import these variables into future documents, but I will if I need to. That's why I was hoping to add the symbols to a menu, so they'd always be there for any FM document. I got that working, but only for codes that are 2 characters long. I think there's a way for longer codes but I need to read Klaus' info a bit more. Re: [Framers] Entering codes for special characters/symbols
Thanks, Lin, for such a succinct and clear explanation. Characters and symbols have always been a bit troublesome for my university catalog. Hopefully, no more. :-) Karen Robbins ___ This message is from the Framers mailing list Send messages to framers@lists.frameusers.com Visit the list's homepage at http://www.frameusers.com Archives located at http://www.mail-archive.com/framers%40lists.frameusers.com/ Subscribe and unsubscribe at http://lists.frameusers.com/listinfo.cgi/framers-frameusers.com Send administrative questions to listad...@frameusers.com
