Re: [Framers] Frame Updates
I don't think so, no. You can always check for updates. :) On Mon, Apr 13, 2020 at 10:43 AM Doug wrote: > Ouch. I hadn't even thought about the FM version. I'm using the 2017 > release. Ouch. I hadn't even thought about the FM version. I'm using the 2017 release. Do they even update my version anymore? Re: [Framers] Frame Updates
If the tracker says it's fixed for FM2020, then I don't expect it to be included in an update, even if there is another one between now and the 2020 release. Also, FM2019 was released on August 22, 20*18*, not 2019. We're actually closing in on 2 years since the last release. They just released Update 5, so I'm betting you'll see the fix in the next release. If you log in to the Adobe Tracker System: https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/FRMAKER-6739 there is a comment indicating that it is fixed in FM2020 FrameMaker 15 [AKA 2019] was released on 22 August 2019, and based upon release dates of prior versions, it may be up to 18 months from then, which would make it around March 2021. Re: [Framers] Cobol - Nostalgia - was Re: FrameMaker 2015
COBOL seemed to me to be just the right thing for bookkeeping. I learned a bit about it in the early 80s. One of my first programming experiences (which I never had any use for). This and other attempts to programming helped me enormously in understanding and creating EDDs. Cheers.
