Tammy,
My organization purchased perpetual licenses of FrameMaker 2019 from
Insight. Their email is centr...@insight.com. Be advised, FrameMaker 2019
has a minor issue composing IsoDraw .cgm files. The version of FM2019 did
not include the IsoDraw.cgm filter to compose the cgm files. I have
experienced some issues with illustrations composed from IsoDraw 3D models.
In order to work with these image files, our illustrators have to strip out
a lot of the layers (vectors) that compose the cgm file. We have learned to
work around this issue, but are dismayed that Adobe offered no fix for this
known issue. They corrected this in the 2020 version of FrameMaker, but
2019 will remain hampered by this missing filter. Good luck.

Based on client needs and how I intend to keep my business going for about 2
more years, I need to upgrade my Framemaker version; however, the for client
matching and other reasons, the subscription model for 2020 will not work. I
need a perpetual license to FM2019. If anyone has a FM2019 that they are no
longer using and would be willing to sell it to me, I would welcome the
opportunity.

[Framers] Compare Documents

Hi All,

I am trying to compare long structured XML documents for added content. The 
content is just like a dictionary, except the words are programming phrases 
(commands) built from keywords separated by characters such as colons, 
brackets, and braces. The generator of this content has an issue with sorting 
characters and sometimes swaps some of the commands. The compare utility does 
not identify that the command element's content is the same and instead 
generates mostly strikeout content, and codes any content that matches the 
swapped command's content as added content, and then this is repeated for the 
following command element. It gets more convoluted if small groups of commands 
are swapped.

Since the only thing I am looking for is newly inserted, higher level command 
elements, is there a way to filter just that?
