And that's also what I remember: You cannot change the user interface language after the installation. Therefore I would ask your IT to install FrameMaker again, but now with Canadian English as interface language. I've been given a way to control the INI file so I won't bug IT for more (with the re-imaging, we no longer have "Admin Privileges" on our own PCs). I just need to know how to adjust maker.ini from US English to Canadian English. Have you verified that you do, indeed, have the Canadian English dictionary file in the appointed directory? Without the dictionary present, you'll just continue to get "can t find dictionary" messages even if you edit the INI file appropriately (e.g., as it was for your old installation). Win 10 FrameMaker: Monthly subscription During a recent (massive) IT update, all our computers were re-imaged. Unfortunately, I forgot to grab a copy of maker.ini for use after the "big change". Also unfortunately, I cannot remember the exact wording to reset the maker.ini language to Canadian English from "USEnglish" (see below). I've tried a couple of things but I'm getting a message that says: "FrameMaker cannot initialize its dictionaries.
