Working on a joint FM doc

2014-02-20 Thread Sonnenberg, Aryeh
I need to work with another colleague on an FM book. We probably don't need to
use the same chapters, but definitely need to create CRs within the book from
my chapters to hers.

We are not currently using any check-in/check-out system.

What is the best way to enable our co-working on one book?

Thank you,

So, in the unstructured environment, there is no tool available for this?

If you need to do that, unstructured FrameMaker's not a good tool since you
can't merge to .fm files.
Structured FrameMaker could work, but if you're migrating from unstructured
FrameMaker, there may be better choices, such as MadCap Flare.

It there something like this for FrameMaker? I am using 10, soon upgrading to
11.
