Will FrameMaker 8 and Acrobat Pro 8.2 run on Windows 7?

2011-08-06 Thread David Creamer
I'm running Frame 8, 9, and 10 on Windows 7 64-bit.
I am running Acrobat 9 and X on the same system, but I can't speak for
version 8.

An organization I sometimes work with had problems with the
configuration you describe. I found a posting from Dov Isaacs on one
of the Adobe forums that states, BTW, although you may be successful
in installing and running FrameMaker 8 on Windows 7, in fact Adobe
officially does not support FrameMaker 8 on Windows 7.

Will FrameMaker 8 and Acrobat Pro 8.2 run on Windows 7?

2011-08-05 Thread Kathy Wells
I can't find anything helpful on this topic on the Adobe web site. So if
you can point me somewhere or have knowledge of this, I would so
appreciate it!

They are ordering me a new laptop and it comes with Windows 7.
We have a corporate site license for FM 8 and because long term they
are moving away from FM altogether, they are not going to want to
upgrade the site license.

Also, I tried to figure out how to search the frameusers archives for this
information--is there a way to do this??

Thanks so much!
