[Frameworks] Send in your clips and ideas for Experimental TV Show

Dear Frameworks and media makers,

I am producing an *EXPERIMENTAL TV* show starting in January. The first
episode is airing on January 6th at 8 PM, 2012 on RCTV-15 the local public
access channel in Rochester, NY. Also the episodes will be available online
at http://rctv15.org

I am looking for any and all contributions to the show, especially
experimental short film/videos, media projects. Of course credit will be
given before and after the clip, if it is not already embedded in the
video.

This is a non-profit endeavor, so there will be no profiting off of, nor
compensation for your material, just free promotion of your work.

I am looking for content as well as ideas, possible one-time hosts,
collaborators that may want to stream material live at that time slot: 8
PM  Eastern Standard Time. I was thinking of including also tutorials on
how to do some of the editing/ filming tricks seen in the videos. So those
are welcome as well.

There are really no parameters to this show, hence the name experimental
TV.

and https://www.yousendit.com/ to upload your material and then send me the
link in an email to rbarna...@gmail.com

My aim is to make this as international as possible so please pass this not
on to fellow filmmakers wherever.

What are your thoughts on the quality of using optical printers modified to 
work with DSLRs for transfering 8/16mm?

[Frameworks] Call for Submissions!

The Arts at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San
Francisco, a visual arts exhibition program, is planning a Spring 2012
program of experimental film and new media from the Middle East, North
Africa, and their diasporas. Inspired by the Arab Spring and its
potential for a radical redress of oppressive structures of power, the
program explores ways in which power determines frames of social and
cultural visibility. Drawn from work both invited and solicited
through this call, the program examines marginalized subjectivities.
Submitted work should address gender and sexuality, (cross) border
identities, counter-cultural practices, or other experiences not
commonly reflected in mainstream narrative films.

This program is co-sponsored by Artist Television Access and the San
Francisco Arab Film Festival. There are no limitations on length and
no fees for submitting your film. For submission form and guidelines

submissions is Feb 1,  2012.
