[Frameworks] 2015 Haverhill Experimental Film Festival: Sept 18-20!

2015-09-03 Thread Brendan & Jeremy Smyth
Hi Frameworkin' Friends,

First off... BOSTON PEOPLE. This year's festival is completely free so
come! come! come!

We want to give Boston/non-Boston folk a heads up of the third annual
Haverhill Experimental Festival happening the weekend of September 18-20 in
good ole Haverhill, Massachusetts. We're featuring 54 films and videos
compiled into six screenings with an all-encompassing narrative arch that
spans the entirety of the festival. Lori Felker of Chicago and Steve
Cossman of Brooklyn will be judging and dishing out nine cash awards plus a
bonus prize from Cossman's MONO NO AWARE (the two judges will also have a
separate screening of their own work of course).

We're expecting 20+ filmmakers in attendance for the weekend, so it should
be FUN. There's even a hotel party happening on Saturday night and a
hangover brunch on Sunday while watching the filmmakers' early early works,
like 12-years old early movies with plots and possibly some drama and
decent comedy. We're even kicking off the screening with a movie we made in
Haverhill in our dad's backyard at 14-years old called "The Outside
People." And if everyone's lucky, we might even show "The Inside People,"
too.

Check out the Films & Videos page on our website to see the official
selections:
