Thanks Vinz,
I see your Selection 2015 touring program includes 16mm, super 8 and 35mm. Are
those the projection formats at all three of the tour screenings? And what
about at your November festival? Your Call for Submissions says what formats
the works must be SHOT on, but I don't see anywhere what formats the works can
or must be PROJECTED on.
Thanks, John

[Frameworks] Courtisane Festival 2016

2016-03-14 Thread Stoffel Debuysere
Dear all,

The 2016 edition of the Courtisane Festival will take place on 23-27 March.

This year’s selection includes new work by Avi Mograbi, Billy Woodberry,
Miranda Pennell, Lukas Marxt, Shadi Habib Allah, Simon Halsberghe, Cyprien
Gaillard, Chantal Akerman, Louis Henderson, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, e.belit sağ,
Randa Maroufi, Carlo Gabriele Tribbioli & Federico Lodoli, Ana Vaz, Sasha
Litvintseva, Margaret Honda, Jean-Paul Kelly, Wang Bing, Eva Giolo, Graeme
Arnfield, Beatrice Gibson, Mary Helena Clark, Laida Lertxundi, Mieriën Coppens,
Manon de Boer, Lav Diaz, Hong Sang-soo and much much more.

Artists in Focus are the Scottish artist, filmmaker and musician Luke Fowler
and Palestinian director Michel Khleifi. The thematic programme In Between
Times is a tribute to Marc Karlin. It presents a selection of British films
that have attempted to document and reflect on the changing political landscape
in a period that stretches from the mid-1970’s to the beginning of the 1990’s.

Finally, the program consists of several unique music performances. Artist in
focus Luke Fowler engages in a dialogue with two of his musical friends:
Richard Youngs and Marcus Schmickler. In addition, Charles Curtis brings us the
European premiere of Piece for Cello and Saxophone, an unknown masterpiece by
the American minimalist composer Terry Jennings (in collaboration with Vooruit).

Welcome!
