Re: [Frameworks] Industrial/Educational Regional Horror Films
Part of the thing is that there is a whole generation of filmmakers who started in the industrial film world or were drafted into the military and wound up shooting military training films, and then afterward made the move into features. Just watch some of the WWII training films and the names on the credits (when there are any) are amazing when you think of what so many of them wound up doing later. --scott ___ FrameWorks mailing list FrameWorks@jonasmekasfilms.com https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks
Re: [Frameworks] Industrial/Educational Regional Horror Films
Roger Corman shot two horror films and a war movie in Puerto Rico in the early 60s. Some of the local crew and talent involved have told me stories about Corman that reinforce the cliche that he was a cheapskate and others that contradict it by saying he was a very good boss. Go figure.
