I dont know if this post is appropriate but here it goes... Basically a year ago my business went belly up. I went bankrupt. Two years ago I met this incredible 14 year old girl who was pregnant. Her mother and her were having problems. She said mom threw her out and mom said she ran away,serveral times. I was caught in the middle. Do I turn her away pregnant to sleep in cars and god knows where else or did I call the police on her and betray her trust?
Anyway I havent seen her in almost two years until last month she showed up with her 18mth old little girl. Mom had thrown her and the baby out. I had her call the police right away, this time "mom" admitted she had thrown them out and they werent coming back. I have had meetings with Social Services etc.. I have emergency 30 day custody of both girls. Thank GOD!! My problem is,like I said, things have changed for me. My business went bankrupt and Im hardly making it on my own. I promised this child she would always have a place to go, a safe place.. I need help to support them. I have already been advised that if I cant take them they will be seperated in foster care. I cant let that happen. She is 16 now, but a damn good mom. Social Services drug tested her on the spot in my home and she PASSED!!! I dont know what is going on at home. I just know I need to know any freebies, coupons whatever I can get to help keep these girls with me. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Any ideas will help!! The little girl is 18 mths... mom is 16. I refuse to put them into the foster system... Yes the state will pay me after all the court stuff.. Im just worried about now... getting thru week to week. I need coupons... freebies... Help!!
