client ip nizi oylesine bir isimle /etc/hosts dosyaniza yazin dns ile ilgili bir kayginiz varsa. Her iki firewallinda bir bir digerine gore + / - leri var. Bu firewalla ne kadar hakim olmak istediginiz, ne kadar siklikla rule degistireceginiz , Ruleset lerinizin "kabarikligi", lokal kullanicilar ya da lan kullancilari için mi oldugu ... vs ile yakindan ilskili. Stability acsiindan ipf, dummynet trafic shaping , bi-directional kontrol gibi ozellikler acisindan ipfw, Ayrica ipfw2 ipfw deki bir takim paket filtrelemedeki takilmalari da gideriyor. Open soruce bir sisteme sahip olmaninizin bir guzelligi de birini birine tercih etmek zorunda olmamaniz, eger paranoic olmaniz için yeterli sebebiniz varsa her ikisini de kullanabilirsiniz, oldukca guvenilir ve teknolojik acilimlara ayak uydurmus bir firewalliniz olur.
