I have a WIP version which addresses a couple of issues encountered in the
past. I'm not sure what would cause Ierrs for external sites though.
You can get the patch from the following URL.
https://people.freebsd.org/~yongari/axge/axge.tso.diff

The patch adds TSO support and fixed a couple of RX issues.
Let me know whether the patch makes difference for you.

Hi All,
Iam able to recreate the issue in FreeBSD 10.3, it looks that the FreeBSD 10.3
has an older version of inbox aacraid driver which is loaded during the boot,
the issue looks like that the New HBA1000-16e, HBA1000-16i and ASR 8405
controller is not compatible with the older driver.
We are working on the solution to fix the issue.

Regards,
Prasad

[Bug 210500] Hard disk controller not supported for Asus Transformer Book T100HA

2016-06-23 Thread bugzilla-noreply
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=210500

Bug ID: 210500
Summary: Hard disk controller not supported for Asus
Transformer Book T100HA
   Product: Base System
   Version: 11.0-CURRENT
  Hardware: amd64
OS: Any
Status: New
  Severity: Affects Only Me
  Priority: ---
 Component: misc
  Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org
  Reporter: clausgeb...@googlemail.com
CC: freebsd-am...@freebsd.org
CC: freebsd-am...@freebsd.org

I am trying to install 11.0-ALPHA4 on a Asus Transformer Book T100HA, but it
seems the hard disk is not found. dmesg und gpart list outputs (from a
11.0-CURRENT a few month ago) can be seen in this forum discussion:
https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/54292/ However, as far as I can see there is
nothing special in those logs.

The suggestion in that thread was, that the controller is not supported yet,
and that I might try to open a bug report.

I can confirm this on brand new Dell PowerEdge T130 with PERC H330

It works with mfi but once i switched to mrsas I can use camcontrol devlist
because it dettaches first 2 of 4 connected disks. So I switched back to mfi.
mrsas and mfi both have problems with smartctl but it is unrelated to this
annoying bug.

I am on FreeBSD 10.3 amd64,
details provided by mfiutil once I am back on mfi driver.

Hi,

I faced with a lot of Ierrs errors with my USB ue0 axge AX88179 USB3.0 Gigabyte
nic.

If I change nic port to 100Mb from 1Gb then Ierrs rate decreased,
but under heavy network load it comes again.

I tested a lot already and it looks like the problem is with axge driver.

I can reproduce the problem by running speedtest.net test,
