I believe I have a related issue, not exactly the same, but similar... When I run vmstat, I notice that processes are always piling up and waiting for CPU time. This is odd, because my CPU is usually running about 70-80% free most times. IRQs look fine, and I have debugging off in the kernel. This has been happening on -CURRENT on my Inspiron 4000 laptop since about July-August. I usually update once a month or so. Everything else in vmstat looks fine... __ Do you Yahoo!?
