Re:Sound problem
Hi, I am experiencing the same problem. I am using Avance 100+ but it is detected as Avance 110. Nevertheless, the sound is working. Can anyone having Avance 100+ also check their sound card id. I checked the sbc.c code and found out that the id is used for detecting Avance 110. I am also experiencing problems of sound being lagged for about 4-6 seconds while using Realplayer 7. During 4.0 current, the sound worked fine without any lagged with the video. thanks... __ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online and get email alerts with Yahoo! XFree86-4 can't start
Hi, I've installed XFree86 version 4 trough the ports collection but it won't start and I think it is because of the missing mouse module. Since I'm using lynx, I can't attached the /var/log/XFree86.0.log file for your reference. I can only paste the error I found in the file. . (II) LoadModule: "mouse" (WW) Warning, couldn't open module mouse (II) UnloadModule: "mouse" (EE) Failed to load module "mouse" (module does not exist, 0) . (EE) No Input driver matching `mouse' (II) Keyboard "Keyboard1" handled by legacy driver (WW) No core pointer registered No core pointer Fatal server error: failed to initialize core devices I'm using NVidia RIVA 128ZX with 8MB RAM and the X server detects it successfully. Any suggestions to solve my problems? __ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! everybuddy consumes lots of cpu cycles...
Hi all, I'm using the 4.0 current as of 29th February and also using Xfree86 3.9.18 beta. The problem is that whenever I use the program everybuddy (/usr/ports/net/everybuddy) which is a messenger for yahoo, msn, icq and aim, the program will consume lots of cpu cycles. Is anyone out there encoutered the same problem? Before this, when I'm using XFree86 3.3.6, there was no problem. I've just upgraded my X windows. Attached is part of the output that i got from 'top' when running everybuddy. __ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! Messenger. http://im.yahoo.com top
Re: Two queries [ KDE / XFree86 ]
Same thing happened to me... :( one other thing: does anyone have the XFree86 pre 4.0 snapshot running with moused and SysMouse ? - it works fine for me without moused and the moues directly under X - but with moused and "SysMouse" "/dev/sysmouse" nothing happens when moving the mouse - any further XF86Config magic required for this ? - does anyone have an hint here ? (btw. - all this on a fresh 4.0-CURRENT box) a lot of thanks in advance t to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message __ Do You Yahoo!? Is ipv6 fully supported in 4.0? I see that many ipv6 options in the LINT file but there are no mentions of ipv6 support in the release notes... thanks __ Do You Yahoo!? ssh_host_key?
Hi, Sorry for asking a stupid question. I've successfully upgraded my system to current on 29th of February. I want to start sshd so I insert the sshd_enable="YES" in the /etc/rc.conf but the server won't start because its searching for the ssh_host_key file. How do I generate that file? I also compiled the apache with modssl but the server won't start with this error: /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/lib/librsaUSA.so: Undefined symbol "ERR_load_strings" Why is this happening? __ Do You Yahoo!?
