 FreeBSD now has preliminary support for USB scanners. You will need to
 have SANE installed in order to use the uscanner driver. You can kldload
 the uscanner driver.

 If you have questions or would like to notify us of additional scanners
 that work through the uscanner driver, please post them to the USB-BSD
