Re: Galera Cluster Packages and Support for FreeBSD are Now Available From Codership

2017-01-30 Thread Steven Hartland
Sent an email to info@ but this only seems to have packages for 9.3 and
10.3, is 11.0 on the cards?

Hi,

Codership is pleased to announce: Galera Cluster Packages and Support
for FreeBSD are Now Available From Codership.

Galera Cluster on FreeBSD

Galera Cluster for MySQL already runs on FreeBSD in large
organizations that handle mission-critical and security-sensitive
data. With Galera 3.20, we are now providing compilation fixes, ports
scripts and binary packages for FreeBSD.

If you are a FreeBSD user, please give those scripts and packages a
try! We welcome all feedback at i...@galeracluster.com .

Binary Packages

You can find Galera Cluster binary packages for FreeBSD in our package
repository, http://releases.galeracluster.com/freebsd/

Using the Galera Cluster Ports

Until Galera Cluster is made part of the official ports repository, it
is possible to compile Galera and MySQL-wsrep using the ports scripts
that we
maintain in our dedicated repository on GitHub,
https://github.com/codership/freebsd-ports

The full story can be read from here

Adding a new entry to 10.0R errata

2014-04-01 Thread Steven Hartland

Hi guys I've just been tripped up by an issue with the 10-RELEASE
which causes a panic and hang when patching LSI firmware on mps.

This is already fixed in 10/stable by mav. Having spoken to him
he agrees that its likely worth mentioning in the 10.0R errata.

So the question is how do we go about doing that?

For reference the following two revisions are required:-
http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base?view=revisionamp;revision=262553
http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base?view=revisionamp;revision=262575
