sorry for bad documentation, manpage should be updated to state
"the current implementation is not thread safe" in BUGS section.

[freebsdcon] radisson reservation

1999-08-23 Thread Jun-ichiro itojun Hagino
(I believe it got bounced due to my mistake in To: line.
sorry if you got it multiple times)

Hello, if this mailing list is inappropriate please tell me so.

I contacted radisson hotels for FreeBSDCon reservation with
special discount, to get the following email - they don't know
about special rate code "FreeBSDCon". What is the exact code for
reservation? Do any of you have success experience with it?

Also, the email suggests that web reservation does not work for
special rate reservation. You may want to update freebsdcon.org
webpages.

Mr Hagino,

Special group/conference rates are not available via the web - we did
contact the hotel and they don't show a special rate for your
group - what does BSD stand for? All the groups that we have listed here
have to be booked with the hotel directly. I can provide
you with their phone and fax number. Phone# is 510-548-7920 fax#
510-548-7944. You may want to contact them directly
concerning this conference.

Sincerely,
Geri Lowe

unified-ipv6 (INRIA+NRL+KAME) effort is under way, and current plan
is to merge this in whenever it is ready.

NetBSD-current recently merged in KAME codebase as they have feature
freeze soon. NetBSD will be updating to unified-ipv6 when it becomes
ready, but this two-step merger comes with some cost (API changes,
bunch of code changes, whatever you may imagine).
