adding more ram
Hi all. server rebooted
Hello. I have a dedicated server the one was up for more than 84 days but this Friday 19, suddenly the server was rebooted. this is the output of the last command # last | grep reboot reboot ~ vie 19 sep 13:55 I already have check the logs but i can't found any hint that could help me to know why the server as was rebooted. send mail using alternate SMTP server

DOS attack
First sorry me if this messages is out of topic for some email-lists, but if some one know a solution, please help me. Hi was victim of a DOS attack, my server was out for about 5 hours, services like web and email where down. I am using round robind dns for a load balancing, but this only help for my web services, any idea on how can i make a redundant service for web and email services? something like mysql does with his replication function? tail -f file on webpage
Hi all How can i make a tail -f file and show the results in a web page with out having to reload the page every N seconds i am using PHP in a script like: ?php $error_log = '/var/log/apache/log'; passthru (tail -f $error_log); ? but i have to relaod the page to view new results. any ideas ? thanks.
